December Newsletter

Dear Friends,

This will be our last correspondence until 2017. A couple of things we want to inform you concerning the ministry. First, thank you for all that you do to assist us in telling the story of Jesus (Matthew 28:19) and speaking for and helping the poor (Proverbs 31:8-9). It is only because of your love and support that we can operate! If you gave to A Voice for the Children in 2016 and do not get a receipt by end of January or have a question about the receipt, please call or email us immediately. Just a reminder, we have been using a CPA firm to handle all the accounting for a few months. So far, everything has gone smoothly. We are still getting some checks sent to our home address. Please use the address on this letterhead so your checks will be deposited in a timely manner.

As 2016 comes to an end just remember that our ministry will not come to an end. We just continue to tell the story of Jesus’ love and reflect it as we minister to the needs of the children and others. Missions is finding a need that you can meet, “Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them”. This is our life verse, Proverbs 3:27. When asked why we do not minister in the US, we just smile and think of the meals we prepare, lonely people we encourage, and local ministries we help. We are sure you all do the same.

Now, the next thing to tell you. Lift your hands and say “Thank you, Lord!” We were in dire need of a new propane stove at My Father’s House. Because of the generosity of God’s people, we have the money for delivery, setup, warranty, and purchase, and it will be installed before Christmas. This will be used to even cook the Christmas Eve meal for the children and the neighborhood around the orphanage. Give God the glory and thank Him!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
